Abstract

Problems that occur where there is an addition to the cost of living while income is fixed, the presence of vacant land in the yard of the house that is not used optimally, and the lack of socialization and motivation for the utilization of vacant land for the residents of Matang Seulimeng Village. In this regard, the purpose of this community service is to assist the community in delivering financial management messages in the health sector, especially regarding efforts to utilize vacant land in the yard of the house to increase household economic income. The research method is through financial management counseling in the health sector. The results of this community service show that people are starting to become aware of managing household finances because of the addition of living costs during pandemic conditions while income does not increase. Increased knowledge of the community in utilizing vacant land by planting vegetables, flowers that can be sold, raising poultry, fish, and so on so that it can increase household economic income as well as guarantee healthy food because plants and livestock are far from the use of fertilizers or pesticides.

Abstract

Ditengah era serba digital seperti saat ini, pembentukan karakter anak sangatlah diperlukan. Kegiatan PKM ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan memberikan pemahaman kepada anak Belajar Bahasa Bersama untuk melatih kecakapan berbahasa serta berkarakter kebangsaan, agar menumbuhkan sikap percaya diri dan menggapai impian dimasa depan. hadirnya Komunitas Belajar Bahasa Bersama di tengah-tengah masyarakat membuka peluang untuk para anak-anak yang ingin belajar bahasa inggris. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini terdiri dari tiga tahap. Pertama tahap persiapan meliputi pra survei, pembentukan tim, pembuatan dan pengajuan proposal, dan koordinasi tim serta mempersiapkan alat yang dibutuhkan. Tahap kedua yaitu tahap pelaksanaan program berupa daring dan luring. dilakukan melalui penyuluhan (pemaparan materi) dan diskusi. Tahap ketiga yaitu tahap evaluasi dan pelaporan. Materi yang telah disampaikan mengenai pentingnya manajemen strategi, memahami sebuah proses perumusan strategi, implementasi strategi dan evaluasi strategi, manfaat dalam berbisnis serta factor penyebab kegagalan dalam berbisnis. Anak binaan Belajar Bahasa Bersama juga aktif dalam diskusi.

Abstract

The lack of teacher knowledge related to numeracy and character literacy, the low ability of numeracy literacy and student character and the low ability of teachers in developing numeracy and character literacy-based teaching materials so that the achievement of learning objectives is still low, on the other hand the 2013 Curriculum mandates numeracy and character literacy-based learning. The solution to overcome the existing problems can be through training for mathematics teachers at PAB Private Junior High Schools, namely the manufacture of teaching materials based on numeracy and character literacy. Specific targets that are expected to be achieved through this service program are improving the quality of learning, increasing pedagogic competence and developing the professionalism of mathematics teachers. For this reason, this activity will provide skills training in the development of numeracy and character-based teaching materials according to the interests of partners, so that later partners are able to develop and apply numeracy and character-based teaching materials in classroom learning so as to improve numeracy literacy skills and the character of teachers and students.

Abstract

The reading corner is a school literacy cultural activity carried out by students in their spare time between class hours to read books available on the shelves in the reading corner. Reading is an important activity in the teaching and learning process, because reading is the ability to absorb knowledge through text or reading material. This reading corner activity itself is carried out as an effort to increase students' reading interest which is applied as a habit. And aims to develop a literacy culture in schools through reading corner activities made in the library. The reading corner activity that was created in the library was carried out with the students of SMPN 55 Merangin aimed at restoring the role of the library as a center for empowering students to develop literacy-based potential. This service is carried out through preparation, socialization of reading corners in libraries, and implementation of reading corners. The result of the dedication to the formation of a reading corner at SMPN 55 Merangin. It is hoped that the establishment of this reading corner can improve school literacy culture.

Abstract

Technology in the era of society 5.0 is an important aspect that needs more attention so that it can be directed at achieving progress. This service focuses on responding to the progress of the times and the needs of today's learning, where application innovation is needed. One aspect that determines the success of learning is the availability of teaching materials that are accessible to users. The innovation of the anchor application in providing teaching materials for the Pancasila and Citizenship Education podcast has become the focus of this study. Innovative activities contain issues and focus of service, goals of service, research methods/approaches/strategies. Training and socialization of the importance of innovation in education through anchor applications is one of the very possible momentums to be developed. Making learning content that is easily accessible and can increase students' interest in learning the material needs to be presented in a more innovative form. The anchor application training and socialization will be implemented at SMP Negeri 1 Anjir Muara Barito Kuala. The school was selected with data that teachers and students have facilities that allow them to use the anchor application on smartphones. The service was carried out on July 2, 2022 at SMP Negeri 1 Anjir Muara Barito Kuala.

Abstract

Campus Teaching Activities 3 is a service activity for the world of education.  Campus Teaching 3 program in 2022 focuses on literacy, numeracy, administration and technology adaptation of students carried out in isolated, impacted and disadvantaged schools.  The purpose of the Teaching Campus activity is (1) Knowing the factors causing the low reading interest of students at school (2) Improving the literacy and numeracy culture in schools (3) assisting school administration (4) students have a responsibility to assist learning activities and help familiarize themselves with technology.  The type of research is qualitative with case study method.  The subjects adopted in this study were all students of SMP Negeri 4 Kutacane, Mbarung, Babussalam District, Southeast Aceh Regency, Aceh Province due to the students' low understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Power Point applications.  Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation.  The results of the research are (1) Can find out the cause of the students' low understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Power Point applications, circumstances factors, interest and willingness factors, family environmental factors and school environmental factors.  (2) Improving students' understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Power Point applications with technology adaptation activities at SMP Negeri 4 Kutacane, Mbarung, Babussalam District, Southeast Aceh District, Aceh Province.

Abstract

as a learning medium in the pandemic era. The implementation of this activity is carried out online and offline. The online method is used by utilizing Google Meeting. While the offline method is implemented in order to evaluate the use of Google Classroom. The implementation of this activity lasted for three meetings with Google Classroom material, this training used the google meet application and training using learning videos. Participants in this activity consisted of elementary school teachers under the auspices of the North Sumatra PAB Foundation. Based on the results of the activity analysis, it can be concluded that after this activity there was an increase in teacher understanding in using and applying Google Classroom learning media. This increase can be seen from; 1) The teacher's ability to provide material through google classroom; 2) the ability of teachers to provide assessments using Google Classroom; and 3) the ability to make ice breaker through learning videos uploaded to Google Classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of implementing the Teaching Campus program is to empower students to assist the teaching process in elementary and junior high schools around the village/city where they live. The method in this service is a survey research method. The steps of situation analysis and program planning as well as the results obtained in the implementation of the Teaching Campus program succeeded in increasing the reading interest of students in SD Negeri 204 North Bengkulu Regency. The problem encountered is that there are students who are not interested in participating in this literacy activity, this literacy activity plan will be carried out after class hours are over and take place in the classroom. Efforts were made before carrying out this literacy activity, namely, we Campus Teaching students discussed it with the principal, teachers, and students, after discussing the program that we would run during the Teaching Campus program we got a good response from the school and students. After this literacy activity was carried out, the results obtained were quite good, students became more active in reading, students were more active in responding to each lesson in the form of discussions or groups.

Abstract

Home gardens have enormous potential and can be used as a source of food supply with nutritional value and high economic value. Programs that can be utilized by the community to improve family welfare in the food sector are by planting family medicinal plants. Family medicinal plants are a collection of plants that are cultivated in the yard. The development and utilization of family medicinal plant cultivation is very necessary to support public health and create a green environment. its activities are carried out in an effort to provide learning experiences or create a condition for community behavior to increase public awareness of family health. The target audience for this health education activity are housewives in  Tanjung Anom Village, Giri Mulya District, North Bengkulu Regency.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus Program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, is a solution to accelerate education during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Campus Teaching Program involves all students in Indonesia whose objectives can be: Instilling a sense of empathy and social belonging, Sharpening thinking skills in working together across fields of knowledge and various student origins, insight, character and soft skills of students, Can improve the order of education in schools, Upgrade administration and technology. lack of understanding of students in remembering and memorizing makes a lack of interest in learning numeracy in students. The purpose of implementing the Teaching Campus program is to empower students to assist the teaching process in junior high schools around the village/city where they live. The purpose of this nursery activity is to take a gradual approach making changes to students is not easy, the dedication there as a student to change children who don't like learning to be diligent in learning numeracy activities to remember, understand and practice Community service to students is carried out directly outside of class hours or during math subjects, this activity is a mandatory activity for students to change students' mindsets.
